Respect for Intellectual Property
Lyricate respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable law.
Lyricate does not host or store lyrics content permanently. The Service searches and displays lyrics from third-party sources. However, if you believe that content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, we will take appropriate action upon receiving a valid DMCA notice.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To file a DMCA takedown notice, please send a written communication to our designated agent that includes the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the URL of the page displaying the content).
- Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter- notification with us. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, Lyricate will, in appropriate circumstances, disable and/or terminate access to content that is the subject of repeated infringement claims. We may also block access to specific songs or sources that are the subject of valid takedown notices.
